Well, prepare to have your asses blown right off, because this movie is JUST like Star Wars, except the plot is totally better and all the special effects are done on computers! Relax, you're not actually in space, no, what you're seeing here is "computer graphics" or "CG." That's right, the future has arrived, right here in 1984! No, that's not sarcasm!
