In our first episode, we revisit Wet Hot American Summer (2001), directed by David Wain. An unofficial spin-off of the MTV sketch comedy show "The State", this movie features some of today's most brilliant comedic actors in a much younger form. We visit Camp Firewood for the last day of camp in the summer of 1981 as imagined by David Wain, Michael Showalter, Amy Poehler, Paul Rudd and more. Nick sure did love this movie in 2001 - and nobody else in the group has seen it. Is it any good? Will we be excited about the Netflix prequel series "Wet Hot American Summer: The First Day of Camp" set to release on July 31? Let's Rewatch and find out.

Starring Nick Keller, Ash Blodgett, Bret Eagleston, Samantha Willson, and Bryce Poole
